Putt putt golf at Victoria Park

It’s all the fun of golf, on a family-friendly scale. Victoria Park is Brisbane’s home of putt-putt, boasting an 18-hole mini-golf course like no other. Search the stars at Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium

It’s time to look up! Since 1978, Brisbane City Council’s Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium has been dazzling and delighting visitors with its Cosmic Skydome – a 12.5-metre-diameter projection dome that showcases the night sky. There is also a Display Zone, observatory, and a sundial courtyard, so you can make a day of it. General entry to the Planetarium is free, though tickets for shows in the Cosmic Skydome range from $6 to $12. It’s one of the most fun things for kids to do in Brisbane.

Cruise the river on a CityHopper

Who needs a fancy boat when you can cruise the Brisbane River for free? Brisbane City Council’s CityHopper is a free inner-city ferry that services six stops between North Quay and Sydney Street in New Farm. It runs every 30 minutes between 5.30 am and midnight, seven days a week, and is a great way to see sights like the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, South Bank, Story Bridge, and Kangaroo Point cliffs.

Catch a game at the Gabba
