At Edge Gawler East, we are a new service in a fast-growing development area and endeavour to become important members of the local community. We believe that caring for children is a collaboration between educators and families and that communication is key to a successful partnership between both centre and parents. We feel that providing exciting educational programs with a focus on school readiness, helps to set children up for a lifelong love of learning across all areas and encourages a sense of wonderment in the world around them. Edge Early Learning Gawler East, previously Where We Grow, is our new custom-designed centre equipped with modern resources and areas for your child to read and relax. Our certified educators provide quality childcare, kindergarten, and education for children from 6 weeks to school age. Our outdoor learning spaces are designed around the suburb’s natural elements and have bike tracks, a pirate ship, climbing forts, sandpits and more!
We implement an inquiry-based approach, harnessing the questions that children ponder and building on these with a range of different learning experiences, both in and out of the classroom. Inquiry-based learning enables children to discover a love of learning through exploring topics that they are interested in, leading to the discovery of new findings.
Our in-house chef cooks all meals fresh daily with a different range of menu items for morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack. We cater to all dietary requirements and encourage children to try new flavours and cuisines which they enjoy doing in the company of their friends.
