At Edge Ngunnawal, we are committed to providing children with a safe and secure environment where they can be inspired to learn and grow in collaboration with their peers and Educators. Every child is supported to learn through a range of play-based experiences in our ‘Teach a Rainbow’ program. The program invites and supports children to investigate big ideas and working theories alongside their peers in a play-based learning style.
We have built strong connections with both Ngunnawal Land and our local community, with monthly educational visits from one of our first Nations People where children from all age groups learn about Aboriginal history and culture through song, dance and storytelling.
Our centre Leadership Team has been working together for over 10 years. Our experience together has created an excellent team culture that flows throughout the centre and creates a warm and inviting service for families and their children. Edge Early Learning Ngunnawal, previously Little Penguins Early Learning, provides long day care and preschool programs tailored to children from 6 weeks to school age. Our dedicated team of qualified educators deliver our educational program with an inquiry-based approach that enables children to ask questions and explore new ideas and discover new interests through play.
At Edge Ngunnawal, we are very connected to the culture of our First Nations People and enjoy exploring our beautiful native surroundings on Ngunnawal Land. The children learn about our connection to Country through exploring native flora, practising Aboriginal artwork, and exploring the history and stories told throughout the Dreamtime.
We are passionate about the health and wellbeing of your children at our Ngunnawal childcare centre, which is why our program promotes healthy eating and active lifestyles. Our amazing in-house Chef and Nutritional Leader, Anant, prepares a nutritious array of meals each week which provides children with a healthy balanced diet and sustained energy throughout the day. The children also enjoy cooking experiences in our commercial kitchen and learning about the different foods that make up a healthy diet.
With long childcare hours to enable easy drop-off and pick-up, quality education curriculums, nutritious meals catering to all dietary requirements, and a supportive daycare community, Edge Early Learning Ngunnawal will help set your child up for success.
