A few words from our Centre Director Jackie.

The Edge North Harbour team and I are proud of the inclusive and welcoming centre environment we have curated for our community. As a new service, in a new development area, we will strive to become the heart of the community with a strong focus on developing a sense of belonging, support and meaningful relationships with families and children. We will provide children with exciting, engaging, and nurturing environments in which to grow and thrive. We will challenge the children to explore, investigate and become curious and adventurous learners in their world.

About the Centre

Edge Early Learning North Harbour in Burpengary East provides quality childcare, kindergarten, and education for children six weeks to school age. The centre has been custom designed with state-of-the-art facilities to suit the community’s needs, with calming spacious indoor learning areas and natural outdoor play areas that stretch around the perimeter of the centre. We are equipped with veggie gardens, climbing forts, water play stations and more! 

Our government approved kindergarten program taught by bachelor certified educators places a focus on sustainability and an inquiry-based approach through learning and discovery. Each child also receives a personalised program to provide the best early learning experience and aid in their growth and development. With a focus on a successful transition to school, we additionally offer onsite cooking classes, language classes and activity-based lessons to support physical literacy. 

We welcome you to come in and have a coffee at our family breakfast bar and meet our friendly team, who would love to take you on a tour of the centre.

Sustainable Early Learning

Our Kindergarten program incorporates education around sustainability through practices such as recycling for arts and crafts and growing veggies in our own garden. Teaching children about the importance of sustainability in their early years teaches them responsibility and respect towards the environment.

At Edge we aim to make life as easy as possible for you, so we supply most of the necessities. However, there are a few items that you will need to bring to ensure your child has everything they need.
