A few words from our Centre Director Nikki.

The Edge Pimpama Team and I are proud of the inclusive and welcoming centre environment we have curated for our community. We are active within our local community and have fostered meaningful community partnerships advocating for equal access to quality early childhood education and care. About the Centre

Edge Pimpama is rated as an Exceeding centre in the National Quality Standards. Our curriculum follows the Government Approved Kindergarten Program and we embed a strong focus on sustainability by teaching children to be conscious of the environment. The children take pride in watering their veggie gardens and enjoy recycling materials to use in the classroom. 

The children also enjoy practicing yoga in our natural outdoor areas. We have found the benefits to be endless such as fine and gross motor development, mood stability, and improved concentration in the classroom. 

Our childcare centre is at the heart of the local Pimpama community, and our Government Approved Kindergarten Program ensures children are developmentally, socially, and emotionally prepared to start school. Our Kindergarten program incorporates education around sustainability through practices such as recycling for arts and crafts and growing veggies in our own garden. Teaching children about the importance of sustainability in their early years teaches them responsibility and respect towards the environment.

At Edge we aim to make life as easy as possible for you, so we supply most of the necessities. However, there are a few items that you will need to bring to ensure your child has everything they need.

Families love Edge Pimpama

Our 1yo started in May and I have to say it’s been the best decision for our family. The facilities at this centre are beautiful, the resources are all new and Montessori-style, and I particularly love that there Aboriginal Australian culture is represented throughout the centre, and incorporated into the curriculum. Miss Jennah (and Miss Misha who has sadly since left) and Miss Brooke have all been so lovely, warm and kind to our boy, as well as all of the staff in Nursery 1+2 and the Kindy room in the morning. We are updated throughout the day with beautiful happy photos and a synopsis of the days activities, and communicated with even when our boy is unwell- as a check-in and make sure he’s doing okay. Particularly during this season of constant illness and how much harder everyone has had to work, I hope the love and care shown to our littles is also extended to the lovely staff from management- because you have an amazing team of hard-workers who are so appreciated by all of us parents. Thanks Edge ELC! 🙌

I could not recommend Edge Pimpama more highly! The teachers are fantastic, they go above and beyond to ensure the comfort and happiness of every child. It is a genuine privilege to know that the lovely teachers are having a part of shaping the person that my child has become/is becoming. The food provided by the centre is always 10/10 and has encouraged my son to develop a more complex palate and enjoy trying new foods. The centre and facilities are all stunning, clean and well maintained.

My daughter has attended the centre for 3 years and now my son for the last 6 months and during this time, the staff have cared my children as we do, they treat them like their own. My kids have developed their growth and nourished their individuality. The centre and staff have always been attentive to our children's needs and wants. It’s very rare to find a childcare centre that you are completely 100% happy with but we have luckily found that at Edge. I can’t speak highly enough about the centre and staff. They are all amazing at what they do for our kids! We love you Edge Early Learning Pimpama!

Can’t rate the educators and staff higher. My girls are so sensitive and were so use to spending 24/7 with me so I was extremely worried about going back to full time work but thanks to these lovely teachers my kids are so comfortable and excited to go every day. 10 stars!
