We are proud to welcome local families into our centre. The team and I are passionate about building lasting relationships with each family and understanding the individual needs of each child to provide them with a nurturing environment where they can grow to become confident learners. Edge Early Learning Port Pirie childcare and kindergarten provides quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to school age. Our long day care hours and onsite parking makes pick-up and drop-off time convenient.
All meals are provided and prepared by our on-site chef. Some of the children’s favourite dishes include sweet pork stir-fry, home-made lasagne, beef sliders, and zucchini fritters with fresh salsa.
Our qualified Educators deliver a Kindergarten program where we implement an inquiry based approach encouraging learning through play. We embed a strong focus on sustainability by teaching children to be conscious of the environment.
Developing strong relationships with our families are important to us. We offer ‘Date Nights’ and have a community station where families can enjoy a coffee or tea and pick up a delicious baked treat or piece of fruit on drop off. Relationships with our local community are equally as important. The children are involved in different community initiatives and enjoy excursions around the local community including Port Pirie Tourism and Arts Centre, the Public Library and McNally Farm at St Mark’s College.
