A few words from our Centre Director Kate.

I like to create an environment where educators are open-minded, believe in themselves and the children and can walk alongside as they grow and develop. Modelling positive behaviours and building respect amongst Educators is very important as children can then learn to understand and respect others no matter of race, religion or beliefs. I believe that we should always be open to learn new ways to look at life, encourage, support and motivate others. Welcome, Yokoso, Blenvenidas, Benvenuta! We are so thrilled to welcome you and your family to our Edge Tarragindi family.

Welcome

About the Centre

Edge Tarragindi provides quality care and education for children 15 months to school age. We are a 4 classroom centre with a homely feel, enabling all children to settle and feel comfortable in their learning environment. The centre has recently undergone an amazing transformation with a new outdoor playground equipped with climbing forts, sandpits, a bike track, veggie gardens, a water play station and more! We love learning outdoors and celebrating nature through our sustainable gardening lessons and playing with our class pets!

  • Onsite parking for easy drop-offs & pick-ups
  • Security Pin Access
  • Located on Pope Street directly off Toohey road. When you turn onto Pope Street drive past the uniting church and you will see us on the corner of Pope and Lana Streets at the bottom of the hill.

Sustainable Early Learning

Our Kindergarten program incorporates education around sustainability through practices such as recycling for arts and crafts and growing veggies in our own garden. We also have numerous class pets at the centre such as guinea pigs, birds and fish. Teaching children about the importance of sustainability in their early years teaches them responsibility and respect towards the environment.

'Kate and her team are amazing, I have had 2 children at Tarragindi Edge and I can highly recommend them. My last is about to venture to school, and her kindy teacher has really impressed me this year, she will ring me to let me know how she is going and observations she has made in getting her ready for school. There are too many amazing educators there to name them all, but they have made my time there special also.'
Renee from Tarragindi
