We would like to welcome all families and children to Edge Early Learning Waterford west. We believe the environment plays a major role in the success of an early childhood program, and it should enhance the children’s interests in all developmental domains. The environment should take into consideration the children’s social skills, communication skills, physical abilities, challenges, and learning styles of the children being educated.
I have worked in the industry for 23 years and have enjoyed watching the children grow. I started my career as the centre cook and have worked through different positions in this industry. I consider families a vital aspect of the program and invite them to spend as much time in the room as possible, reading or teaching the children your special talent.

Edge Early Learning Waterford West, previously Kids Corner Waterford West, provides quality childcare, kindergarten and educational programs for children six weeks to school age. The newly renovated long daycare centre features modern learning spaces filled with state-of-the-art resources and spacious outdoor play areas designed to encourage physical activity and exploration of our natural environment. With four childcare rooms, a nursery, a toddlers, a pre-kindy and a kindergarten room, children of all ages have their own space to grow and learn. We also have three outdoor play areas with forts, slides and playground equipment.
At Edge Waterford West childcare centre, our qualified educators deliver an inquiry-based kindergarten program focusing on exploring the interests of the children and learning through play. Our play-based learning guides children towards achieving development goals, including building a sense of identity, wellbeing and being confident learners.
