Edge Early Learning CEO Helps Raise Funds for Australians Experiencing Homelessness

Edge Early Learning’s CEO, Annie Bryce, is taking part in the annual CEO Sleepout in Brisbane next month, to help raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society, supporting Australians in need.

The eye-opening event aims to help raise awareness and bring home the realities of homelessness that many Australians experience today. It brings together CEOs to experience what it’s like to spend one of the longest and coldest nights sleeping outside in a park, exposed to the elements like those in need.

Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness and although one night may not seem like a lot, it can make a world of difference with all dollars helping Vinnies provides essential services to the people that need them most.

“To think that hundreds of thousands of Australians are currently experiencing homelessness is absolutely heart breaking,” said Annie.

“Any support is welcome to help break this devastating cycle and make a difference to those in need.”

With the generous help from the community, Annie has almost reached her fundraising goal of $8,000 with every dollar contributing to help feed a family, relocate a person sleeping rough to accommodation services and provide emergency accommodation for a family in crisis.
